As you may have gathered if you’re a regular visitor, we love a good shmup here at Fusion R Gamer, so we were delighted to learn that the brilliant-looking indie shmup Wings of Bluestar is out this week for consoles, including Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. The game’s console release follows its release on PC via Steam in October 2020. (A demo is available on Steam if you fancy trying before you buy.) Wings of Bluestar is a story-based horizontally-scrolling indie shmup by indie developer ShinuRealArts Games, and it’s published by indie publisher Eastasiasoft. The game is the developer’s first as a solo indie developer, and it flies onto consoles this Wednesday (18th January 2023).
