Obviously, today’s big gaming event is the release of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom on Nintendo Switch, the long-awaited sequel to the Switch title Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. However, we tend to prefer our games with something of a retro flavour here at Fusion R Gamer, so we were interested to learn that the original 8-bit NES Zelda game is being remade as a 16-bit SNES Zelda game.
The Legend of Zelda, the first Zelda game, is receiving an unofficial port to the SNES.
This unofficial SNES Zelda remake is being created by the NES ROM hacker Infidelity.
The Legend of Zelda was originally released on NES back in 1986.
Infidelity has previously ported the NES game Mega Man 2 to SNES.
