Despite being a big release, Remedy Entertainment has made the surprise announcement that it will, for now at least, only be released digitally. Citing consoles and buying habits that are moving to digital-only releases, this will be disappointing news for collectors and those of us that still like something tangible – and indeed, for those of us that may still wish to play it in years to come once the digital dead stays buried forever.
Personally, I’ll skip it at launch, and will either wait until it’s heavily discounted, or for a patched-up special disc edition (or series collection), should it ever happen.
