Stardate 1696 , The Taris Xavia has been sent out into deep unknown space, after a signal was intercepted on TOI 700e, the only known human inhabited planet to exist.
After intercepting the strange alien signal you are met by hostile lifeforms that are determined to obliterate you. TX-1696 is a brand new Shmup game due for release this year. This impressive game takes full use of the Spectrum Next’s capabilities and was highlighted at Crash Live 2022 and the Retro Computer Museum Leicester events last year.
Back in March this year a competition to win an exclusive demo saw five lucky winners receive the demo and have their names entered into the game’s credits. The new demo will now be released for all who have pre ordered the game from luckyredfish.com this Friday.
