Bullet-time is back!
Remedy Entertainment has announced, that after agreeing on a deal with publisher Rockstar Games, both Max Payne and Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne will be remade on PC and modern consoles.
Currently, at just the concept stage of development, it will be allocated a large budget, comparable to recent high-profile games such as Quantum Break, Alan Wake, and Control. It is also understood that both games will be released as a single package.
Amazingly, the original game is now over 20 years old, but it’s likely the remakes will be several years away, given the early stage of development.
