Bitmap Bureau Collection is the latest release from developer Bitmap Burea and publisher Numskull Games. It comprises three arcade titles, Xenocrisis, Battle Axe and Final Vendetta. The physical edition will also receive a Special Edition including limited edition goodies that will be revealed at a later date.
The release of Xeno Crisis as part of the collection sees the game get its first retail release. The standard edition of the collection will retail at £39.99 and will be available from the summer of 2024 with pre-orders starting soon for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
BEAT ‘EM UP! Final Vendetta is a side-scrolling beat ‘em up, paying homage to the iconic arcade titles of the 80’s and 90’s such as Double Dragon and Final Fight. Playable either in solo or co-op mode, Final Vendetta pulls no punches, with a unique story, four different game modes and a thumping dance/techno soundtrack by Featurecast which also features four exclusive tracks from 90’s chart-topping electronic dance duo, Utah Saints.
HACK ‘N’ SLASH! Battle Axe is an arcade top-down hack & slash featuring high-quality visuals created by veteran pixel artist Henk Nieborg, true to form game mechanics, and music from the legendary VGM composer Manami Matsumae – retro gamers rejoice!
SHOOT ‘EM UP! Xeno Crisis is an arena shooter in which up to two players take control of battle-hardened marines embarking on a deadly mission to confront an alien menace! Run and gun your way through thousands of adversaries, searching for survivors, and ultimately facing the origin of the outpost’s demise.
