The Vision:
1) 40+ Sinclair systems for visitors to play – ZX81, Spectrum 48K. Spectrum +, Spectrum 128 Toastie, +2, +3, Spectrum Next, N-Go, QL and more in the CRASH section. Peripherals galore.
This section will be split into sections – The Early Years (1982-83), The Golden Years (1984-1986), The Latter Years (1987 onwards), Today and the Future.
2) 20 or so other systems to play in the “FUSION” section including multi-player gaming – think Mario Kart!
3) 13 Traders already signed up – see the floorplan below.~
4) Big screen projector gaming on the stage including competitions throughout the day.
5) A smattering of arcade cabinets – Play the arcade version of Terra Cresta or Donkey Kong for example, then play the Spectrum version that will be hosted next to it.
6) A brand new CRASH game is being developed by Andy Johns and Richard Faulkner that will be playable on the day, and available for purchase.
7) Each visitor will get a FUSION CRASH, 52-page event special magazine on entry.
8) Talks (in a separate Q/A room – see floorplan below):
Malcolm Evans (Trashman, 3D Escape, Jonah Barrington’s Squash etc) confirmed. Will be interviewed by Paul Drury.
Clive Townsend (Saboteur) confirmed. Will be interviewed by Graeme Mason.
Anthony and Nicola Cauldfield – Q/A on their new ZX Spectrum documentary – with clips shown from the film.
The Spectrum Show LIVE – with Paul Jenkinson and Geoff Neil.

9) A couple of display cabinets full of rareities – you can look but not touch.
10) At the end of the day – Paul Drury will host a quiz on stage. I am sure there will be some good prizes for the winner(s).
11) Evening – tickets for sale to see the full movie by Anthony and Nicola – buffet then available afterwards. Tickets – limited availability.
The Retro Computer Museum are supporting our event, and supplying much of the Sinclair kit that will be on display.
We are putting on the event in collobaration with Revival Retro Events and this is planned to be a yearly event.
