The World Video Game Hall of Fame, at The Strong museum in New York, has inducted four new games from an incredibly strong shortlist – classic titles such as Resident Evil, Assassin’s Creed, and even PaRappa the Rapper all failed to be enrolled this time around.
What we do have however are the following four titles, joining the likes of Pong, Sonic the Hedgehog, Doom, and Space Invaders:
- Ms. Pac-Man
- Sid Meier’s Civilization
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
- Dance Dance Revolution
These are four phenomenal games, all deserved additions to the Hall of Fame. Congratulations to all inductees, and hopefully those that didn’t quite make it will have better luck next year.
