Shadow Gangs has arrived on Dreamcast and the bottom line is it’s excellent. It originated as a modern game but has been optimized for Dreamcast by developer JKM Corps. The port has been funded by Kickstarter but you can buy a copy from publisher Wave Game Studios to be released 2nd July.
You play as Dan, a skilled ninja, who must rescue hos family from the dreaded Shadow Gangs! The story is straight out of an 80s action movie and this is exactly the point. Shadow Gangs plays like a rock-solid 80s arcade game that will challenge even the best of players.
Its graphics are superb and the soundtrack is full of cheesy guitar riffs that pull hard on the nostalgia cord. Anyone into side-scrolling action games should be checking this one out and its a must for Dreamcast indie fans.
