A new UK arcade opens tomorrow (Saturday 27th May 2023) in Poole Dorset, following a VIP-only launch event being held today.
The new free-play arcade is part of the High Score Arcades chain, which already has locations in Farnborough, Newbury, Southampton, and Swindon.
The Bournemouth Echo report that the new arcade will offer the “world’s biggest Pac-Man”.
In addition to an apparently massive Pac-Man, High Score Arcades Poole will also offer a selection of other arcade games, to include total of 80 games, which will include a mix of racing games, retro titles, and modern arcade experiences. The arcade is aiming to be family-friendly, so there will be no over-18s gambling machines.
General admission costs £11.95. A family ticket for up to 4 (with at least 1 adult and 2 children) costs £38.24, and children of 5 years and under are admitted for free.
Sessions in the arcade last 60 minutes and must be booked in advance.
