Other than a new HD version of Super Mario RPG, the biggest news from today’s Nintendo Direct event had to have been the announcement of a brand new 2D Mario title. Super Mario Bros Wonder came out of nowhere and it looks absolutely stunning.
Full of life and charm, and the ability to play as both Yoshi and Daisy, this was truly a highlight of the showcase. Beautifully animated and voiced, with inventive new gameplay – from turning into an elephant to jumping on living pipes. Is anyone else hyped for this?
Super Mario Bros. Wonder will hit the Nintendo Switch on October 20th.
