Whoooooooooo! Happy Halloween! If you’re looking for some suitably spooky NES and Game Boy games to enjoy this Halloween, and you’re a Nintendo Switch Online member, then you’re in luck! Unlike the previously reported, and significantly less spooky, addition to the library from last week, these games are available to Nintall Nintendo Switch Online members, and not just those who have the Expansion Pack.
The latest additions to Nintendo Switch Online’s crypt of retro gaming horrors are:
Castlevania Legends
the third Game Boy Castlevania title, which was a prequel to the original Castlevania, though it’s subsequently been determined to be non-canonical. The game was originally released in 1997 in Japan and 1998 in the West
Devil World
A maze game originally released for the Famicom in Japan in 1984, before heading West to the NES in 1987.
The Mysterious Murasame Castle
an action-adventure game originally released in Japan for Famicom Disk System in 1986.
All three titles are available to play on Nintendo Switch Online now.
