Atari has announced that the first four games from their Recharged Series will now get a physical release for PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. Partnering with Limited Run Games, Series One features two collections, each consisting of just two games:
Atari Recharged Collection 1 ($34.99) – Centipede: Recharged and Black Widow: Recharged
Atari Recharged Collection 2 ($34.99) – Asteroids: Recharged and Breakout: Recharged
Atari Recharged Collection 1+2 Dual Pack ($69.99) – both collections in a box
Some might argue these collections are overpriced, and I won’t argue against that. Having all four budget titles on a single disc/cart would have been more reasonable.
Preorders for this shameless money-grab open from November 25 until Boxing day.
