It was an absolute pleasure chatting to Chris and I hope you enjoy the podcast as much as i did making it.
I have been involved in gaming since the early days of Arcades and vintage gaming consoles like the Acetronic and Atari 2600. I remember when there were Arcades, and Arcade machines everywhere. It was a time when you could hire the latest video game cartridges from your local video store and play on Arcade Machines while waiting for your fish and chips.
My first introduction to computers was the BBC Acorn at primary school and my first home computer was the rubber keyed spectrum. After time i had different spectrums, Ataris, Amigas and various consoles.
At seventeen I worked in a video games shop in Birmingham (uk) called Microbyte where we were one of the first retailers to import all the latest Japanese consoles like the Sega Megadrive, Famicom, PC engine and Neo Geo.We even had ties with the Amiga demo group 17 bit software who produced some of the best public domain disks of that time.
I have a genuine love for all consoles, computers, Arcades and gaming systems modern or retro.and my favourites would have to be the Spectrum, Amiga, Pc Engine and Megadrive.
