Cursed Knight, the new Mega Drive game from French developer Broke Studio, has funded in seven hours after going live yesterday. The project was a no brainer for backers as the game is already finished and the Kickstarter was only to raise funds for physical crats and artwork. Several popular YouTube channels have already reviewed the game and it is receiving great feedback.
The game is a platform shooter and promises five worlds spread across ten levels, a password system and some gorgeous pixel art. In a statement on their Kickstarter page Broke Studio said ‘You did it! You funded the project in less than 7 hours, that’s just insane! We’re very happy that so many people are as thrilled as us to play The Cursed Knight. This is only the beginning, we have some surprises/stretch goals for you, so please help us by sharing the project around you, we promise you won’t be disappointed!’
