Spectrum 40 for Charity!

There is a brand new ZX Spectrum bundle on Itch.io in support of Special FX.

A member called Quantum Sheep has rounded up 25 Spectrum Inide devs to offer up their games for charity – what we have currently on offer is 35 Spectrum games for a measily price of $10.

There are some cracking titles as part of the bundle including The Swarm is Coming, a game that recenly was awarded a CRASH SMASH in CRASH magazine.

I have been around in retro circles for some time – first dabbling in retro events, then retro magazines, and then retro books. I have now settled into producing yearly publications of yesteryear Newsfield magazines that are aptly called Annuals. I got his first 8-bit computer back in 1982 after nagging my parents for an arcade experience in the bedroom and ultimately had to wait a good few years before that actually happened. These days I play on the current gen systems but finds myself collecting all the systems I wished I had as a kid. There is always the next purchase – there is still so much to collect. (I have a very understanding wife!)
