The Evercade just goes from strength to strength and its latest indie collection features two games from Elden Pixel. The two game pack features 8-bit Edition of Alwa’s Awakening and a completely native port of Cathedral from developer Decemberborn. It’s scheduled for release in October and will be up for pre-order 29th July.
Alwa’s Awakening is an action platformer that was first released on the NES. This new port is a conversion and titled ‘8-bit edition’. Cathedral was originally released on PC in 2019 and this release is a completely new port made exclusively for the Evercade. It marks the first native port of an Evercade game and starts a new chapter for the system that usually relies on emulating games.
