F-Zero 99 graphic

Since we reported on the surprise launch of F-Zero 99 on Nintendo Switch Online, we’ve already reported on the addition of more content, but today (19th October 2023), just three short weeks later, even more content is being added to F-Zero 99. Today will see King League come to Grand Prix mode, and three new courses including Fire Field. Nintendo have stated that now that all 15 tracks from the original F-Zero are available in F-Zero 99, these will be the final new tracks added to the game, but also that there will be other future updates released for it.

Hey, Nintendo, if you love F-Zero so much, why don’t you marry it?! Bring us a proper new F-Zero title? In fact, we’re calling it now, Nintendo’s renewed interest in F-Zero must mean that a new F-Zero will be a launch title for the next Nintendo console. You read it here first! (And quite possibly last.)
