We were delighted when Blaze Entertainment announced THEC64 Collection for their Evercade retro consoles, as it marked the first time that the format saw a release containing home computer games rather than console or arcade titles.
As you may recall if you’ve read our review in Fusion magazine issue 42, we ended up being slightly underwhelmed by the first Evercade C64 collection (though if you read Fusion issue 45 you’ll know we enjoyed the second volume a little more!)
Evercade fans certainly appear to have lapped up THEC64 collections, as a third volume is on the way in February 2024.
The third Evercade C64 collection will boast 13 games, including Boulder Dash, Heavy Metal Paradroid, Summer Games II, and more. Pre-orders for the cartridge open on 15th December.
