ITS HERE! Everyone has been waiting for the Nintendo Switch to get a port of the N64’s GoldenEye 007 and we now know it will appear this Friday thanks to a tweet from Nintendo. The announcement confirms many of the things we already know. The port has been developed to fit the widescreen display of the Switch and it will include online multiplayer.
The release is part of the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion service and subscribers will be able to download GoldenEye 007 from Friday. There is no news as to whether it will be available as a stand alone title but this is doubtful considering how all the other retro releases have been handled.
A separate release, that doesn’t include online multiplayer, is heading to Xbox Game Pass.
