The Hyperkin Mega 95 is a new handheld console from third-party peripheral manufacturer Hyperkin that will run any Mega Drive or Genesis cartridge, much like Sega’s own much-coveted Nomad from 1995, though unlike the Nomad, he Hyperkin 95 can also connect to TVs, via a dock, making it a kind of Nintendo Switch for Mega Drive cartridges.
A release date for the Hyperkin Mega 95 is yet to be announced, so we suggest that you keep an eye on the company’s Twitter feed and official website for further updates.
The Mega 95 follows in the footsteps of Hyperkin’s SupaBoy, a handheld console that runs SNES and Super Famicom cartridges.
