You may remember Iain Lee from Channel 4’s 11 O’Clock Show, or the video game show Thumb Bandits, or in more recent years you may have heard his radio phone-ins or watched his streams, or perhaps you read his monthly column in Retro Gamer.
If you’ve been keeping track of Iain’s career you’ll be well aware that he’s a keen and knowledgeable gamer, which is why we’ve been looking forward to his latest venture, a podcast about retro gaming titled Iain Lee’s Random Access Memories. The first episode has now “dropped”, as the common parlance has it, and you can access it via Acast or see video of the episode’s interview via YouTube.
Episode one of Iain Lee’s Random Access Memories features Iain interviewing T-shirt designed extraordinaire Scott Balcony about the Minder game on the ZX Spectrum. Cor blimey, Arfur! As you can tell from such a left-field choice of game for its first episode, this won’t be your usual retro gaming podcast covering the same old titles.
