Marseille Inc. has partnered up with Centersoft to officially bring mClassic to the UK. The nifty device upscales your old consoles to display razor-sharp on a modern TV. It’s described as the “world’s first plug-and-play graphics processor for video game consoles”.
The mClassic enhances lower-resolution video to Super HD as well as redrawing pixels at 120 frames per second. It works straight out of the box with more recent consoles such as Xbox 360 and Wii U but does require any retro consoles lacking HDMI output to be connected via an HDMI adaptor.
The device has been available to buy for a few years but has now been officially released in the UK and can be bought from The Game Collection, ShopTo, 365 Games and Amazon. While the mClassic is priced at £99, some of the retailers that have started stocking it are offering it at a discounted price.
