We previously reported on the announcement of the Nintendo Switch title Kiby’s Dream Buffet, starring Nintendo’s long-serving greedy, gooey pink blob.
The game is now available on the Nintendo Switch eshop for pre-order, with a release date of Wednesday 17th August 2022.
The game is described by Nintendo as a “party platformer”.
The price of Kirby’s Dream Buffet is £13.49, which is very low for a Nintendo first-party title but rather on the pricey side when compared to the recently-released and similar Fall Guys, which is incredibly popular and free. While I wouldn’t expect a Kirby title to be free, It does seem to be about twice the price that one might expect for a game of this type. The game looks fun, but is the pull of Kirby enough to shift enough units to make Kirby’s Dream Buffet a tasty proposition?
