Sega is rumoured to be developing a brand new Sonic the Hedgehog game, according to a leak by blogger Zippo, who has form for providing accurate information regarding our blue friend. According to Zippo, the game will be 2D and developed by Team Sonic themselves – their first 2D Sonic game in nearly 30 years.
Characters Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles will all be playable in the game and will be a kind of follow-up to the Sonic Advance and Sonic Rush series.
Sega is already releasing Sonic Origins imminently, which is a remastered bundle of the early games in the series, and if this leak is anything to go by, they’re not done yet!
