LEGO has teased a new set based on the iconic Transformers toy, Optimus Prime, leader of the Autobots. Launching June 1st for €169.99, set 10302 – amazingly – will also be FULLY TRANSFORMABLE in a similar sequence to the original 80s toy!
Based on the original G1 version of Optimus Prime, the 35cm tall set will comprise 1,508 LEGO pieces, including a number of accessories. These include his Energon Axe, Ion Blaster, Jetpack, Tech Spec, and the Allspark itself.
More interesting was a temporary leak from The Brothers Brick, which featured a number of images of the toy itself – and it looks fantastic. Megatron G1 next, please!
Day one purchase for sure
That’s a steep price tho… then again, all LEGO is expensive now
