Mauro Xavier, the indie developer recreating Final Fight on the Mega Drive, has released a short demo as a Christmas present for those following the project. In a tweet sent on Christmas Day, he says he wishes to give a simple gift to the community. You can find the link to the unofficial port on the tweet.
Lots of eager players have shown themselves playing Final Fight on the Mega Drive in the tweet comments. And although there are a few bugs in the demo,Mauro knows how to fix them and is carrying on the work. The final game should include new modes such as boss rush and time attack, as well as a few extra modern touches to improve gameplay.
