Analogue, makers of the retro handheld Analogue Pocket, have announced that they will be releasing a new N64-compatible console next year, named Analogue 3D.
Promised features of the device include wireless Bluetooth and 2.4g, 4 original-style controller ports, and Analogue OS
The Analogue 3D will not run on emulation.
Analogue describe the Analogue 3D as “A reimagining of the N64,” which may sound somewhat grandiose, but would appear to be not too far from the truth!
Some of Analogue’s claims for the specs for the Analogue 3D are: 4K resolution,
original display modes, recreations of specific model CRTs and PVMs, 100% compatibility with USA, EU & Japan cartridges.
The Analogue 3D is set for release in 2024, and you can register to be notified of availability here. If it’s anything like the Analogue Pocket, it will sell out fast, so don’t delay!
