One thing we love about Hamster Corp’s Arcade Archives line of emulated arcade titles is that they dig deep into the Arcade Archives for forgotten gems, as well as releasing well-known beloved classics, and the latest release is definitely an example of the former.
“Guttang! Gottong!” might sound like a catchphrase that one of Mr Biffo’s surreal creations would shout, but Guttang Gottong is actually the latest Arcade Archives release and is a 1982 railway-based puzzler from the early days of arcade gaming, which has lain dormant in Konami’s back catalogue for many a year. The game is better known in the West as Loco-Motion! And now, thanks to Hamster Corp’s Arcade Archives, you can once again jump on board and play Guttang Gottong as it was originally intended, albeit from the comfort of your own home, on your PlayStation 4 or Nintendo Switch.
