Ocean – The Adventure isn’t a Subnautica-influenced deep sea game, but is a text adventure based on the legendary software house of the 1980s and 90s. And the game’s creator, Bill Harbison, certainly knows his stuff on that front, having worked as a pixel artist for Ocean and Imagine on titles such as Chase HQ, Batman The Movie, Jurassic Park, and others.
Ocean – The Adventure is still in production, but Harbison, who goes by the name “Harbonaut” has just teased his loading screen for the fun-sounding text adventure, which is being created using PAW (Professional Adventure Writer).
Who’d have thought that 2024 (some 40ish years after the Speccy’s heyday) would be such a fruitful time for new ZX Spectrum games? Only yesterday we reported on a new Knightmare game in production for the machine, and today we bring you news of this intriguing text adventure!
