Edge #377

In the latest issue of Edge is a report on the Tokyo Game Show, an update on the System Shock reboot, and a massive 16-page preview of Callisto Protocol. There’s also an interview with Lars Wingefors, the CEO of Embracer, a developer profile on Milestone Interactive, an article about videogame preservation, and the making of Deathloop.

Reviews this time include Splatoon 3, Roadwarden, Hob’s Barrow, Steelrising, and a slightly harsh review of Return to Monkey Island. But that’s what Edge does…

Wireframe #67

Inflation has hit this month – the page count is down a little and the paper stock is thinner – however, the quality of the magazine content is as high as ever. The cover highlights the big preview of the latest Dark Pictures title, The Devil in Me, and an interview with the development studio. Continuing with the horror theme is the history of Dead Space, a look at how Kojima’s PT demo has changed the industry, and a developer toolbox showing how to create some of PT’s scary features in Unreal Engine 5.

Also in this issue is a preview of Gord, the new city-building game from Team17, a developer profile on No Code Studios, and a report on Gamescon 2022. Rounding out this issue are reviews of Saints Row, Destroy All Humans 2, Hindsight, Immortality, Arcade Paradise, We Are OFK, and Cursed to Golf.
