Phantasy Star Online 2 may be a decade old now but it only had a global release a year ago. The originally Japan-exclusive MMORPG has built a new audience and Sega are adding more content to celebrate the first year of having a global community. It is the biggest update since the game re-launched in June 2021 on Xbox platforms.

Two new classes, a Katana-wielding Braver and nimble Bouncer, will be added and several legacy items will be available to players soon. The update will launch 8th June to coincide with the one year anniversary and promises a new region to play as well as host of new features. The main game is free to play now PC or Xbox.
