The upcoming new pixel art beat’em-up adventure from Microids will be landing on Switch ans Steam 9th January 2023. The much anticipated Scrap Riders looks promising and mixes up the brawler mechanics with point-and-click style adventuring.
It sounds like a strange blend of genres but watching the gameplay video shows that it is working. From what we can see the beat ’em-up sections are separated from the dialogue and puzzle solving elements. Scrap Riders is also boasting humour that uses pop culture references to bring the cyberpunk world to life.
