As you can see from the image, it’s not the Super Mario Bros movie you might have expected, it’s the live-action Super Mario Bros movie from 1993, starring Bob Hoskins as Mario and John Leguizamo as Luigi.
Australian company Umbrella Home Entertainment are releasing the film in a 30th anniversary “Trust the Fungus” limited numbered collector’s edition, which you can pre-order now.
The three-disc release includes a brand new 4K restoration from the original camera negative, along with a hardback book with over 250 pages, featuring production materials, a 200-page book of scripts including early drafts, a Super Mario Bros film cel in a case, a replica A6 1993 3- page souvenir magazine, 8 replica lobby cards
2 x A3 reversible posters featuring UK, Australian, Thai, and Japanese original posters.
