Epic Games and Fortnite raise £110m for Ukraine

Epic Games, in conjunction with Xbox, has announced that $144m (£110m) has been raised for humanitarian aid relief for the victims of Ukraine. For the past two weeks, all proceeds generated from in-game sales in Fortnite have been donated to charity organisations, including Direct Relief, Unicef, the UN World Food Program, the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and World Central Kitchen. Over £15m raised by Humble Bundle

We previously reported on the Humble Bundle Stand with Ukraine bundle of games that allowed people to donate to the suffering caused by Russia's war in Ukraine, all while being rewarded with £2,000 of games for a little over £30. They have now announced that a massive 473,885 bundles were sold, raising a staggering £15,714,951 for charity. Kudos to everyone involved.

The itch.io Bundle for Ukraine campaign has now ended after several days of charity fundraising. The final total raised was $6,370,627.22 (nearly £5 million), an absolutely incredible amount. Kudos to all of itch.io, the developers, publishers, and everyone who has made a donation. An amazing 449,635 donators collectively helped victims of Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Amazing.
