We previously reported that a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin video game was in production, to be based on the critically-acclaimed IDW graphic novel.
THQ Nordic have now confirmed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Last Ronin video game will be coming to PC, Play Station 5, and Xbox Series X|S (date TBC)
THQ Nordic describe the game’s plot thusly: “In a future, battle-ravaged New York City, a lone surviving Turtle embarks on a seemingly hopeless mission seeking justice for the family he lost.” Sounds quite a bit darker than the brightly-coloured cartoon antics of The Cowabunga Collection and Shredder’s Revenge!
With the TMNT Street Fighter 6 DLC and this forthcoming Last Ronin adaptation, it seems that the Turtles’ long association with video games shows no sign of fading,, and we cheer a hearty “Cowabunga!” to that!
