Konami’s long-awaited Cowabunga Collection was finally released in August, and our deep-pan dive review of the game is scheduled to appear in a future issue of Fusion magazine.

In this Collection, Digital Eclipse have compiled a beautifully presented, impressively comprehensive collection of the Turtles’ 13 finest arcade and console titles. It’s astounding how many games are included, including some bona fide classics. This collection proves that the video game genre that best suits the Turtles is the side-scrolling beat ‘em up.
The Cowabunga Collection is a must for “Shell Heads”, and for side-scrolling beat ‘em up fans, as it has some of the best. So, if you’re neither a Turtles fan nor a beat ‘em up dude, knock a point off the score.
Think this is the first five-star review on the site! It’s wonderful and they did a cracking job with this collection.
