As per this year, the Evercade game of the month programme for 2023 will run from April to December, with a new game playable on Evercade VS each month after updating the system software. The Game of the Month will also be available on the forthcoming Evercade EXP handheld.
The Game of the Month remains playable on the console until the system software is updated again, replacing it with the next Game of the Month.
The Games of the Month will be collected on a cartridge in the Indie Heroes series, to be released the following January.
The updates to the Game of the Month plan mean that the Indie Heroes 2 cartridge collecting 2022’s Games of the Month has been delayed from a December release, and will be released in January 2023, with subsequent Indie Heroes cartridges following every January.
