It just seems like yesterday when Japanese retro publisher Hamster Co. launched Arcade Archives. It was ten years ago though and the company just keep releasing them, one a week for the Switch and PlayStation.
While not every game in the long-running series is a must-play, it’s commendable to think that the number of lost arcade titles that have got a little bit of the spotlight thanks to Hamster Co. and its never-ending passion to bring retro arcade classics to more players. We say happy 10th Birthday Arcade Archive, long may it continue.
And while we are celebrating it would be prudent to explain that this week’s arcade gem being released is F/A Fighter & Attacker, a shooting game released in 1992 by Namco. Great stuff!
