Toaplan and its host of arcade shooters hold a special place in many gamers’ hearts. Now, thanks to Bitwave Games we will be able to enjoy four of these classics as part of a new range heading to Steam on 14th February. The four titles are being sold separately under the title Toaplan Arcade Shoot ‘Em Up Collection Vol. 1 and it includes Out Zone, Zero Wing, Truxton and Twin Cobra.
Each of the four titles has new “quality-of-life” features including quick save and load, practice modes and rewind as well as many other modern twists. However, arcade purists need not fret either as you can turn these features off and enjoy the original arcade version of each game.
