Now, we know that the Nintendo Switch hosts a number of retro titles, whether released on the eshop or via Nintendo Switch Online. But we didn’t see this coming! From tomorrow (28th September 2023), you’ll be able to purchase a compilation of four Commodore 64 games on the Nintendo eshop.
Pixel Games UK are publishing ‘Imagine Software Presents Hidden Gems: Volume 1,’ a collection of four Commodore 64 games for Nintendo Switch, comprising N.O.M.A.D., Murant Monty, Gilligan’s Gold, and Horace Goes Skiing.
Features promised by the collection include “display filters”, “suspend points”, and “live rewind”.
The use of “volume 1” teases that future volumes may also be planned. We certainly hope so, anyway! If further compilations of Commodore 64 titles were to be released for the Switch, which games would you like to see? Share your thoughts in the comments…
