We love it whenever a new Commodore 64 game gets released, and this one looks like a doozy!
Self-published fantasy author Sarah Jane Avory also codes C64 games, and she has previously released the title Briley Witch Chronicles, based on her Briley Witch series of books, the title was very well received, winning Indie Retro News’ Game of the Year award for 2021. Avory’s latest game is a sequel titled Briley Witch Chronicles 2. The sequel is a JRPG-inspired title for the Commodore 64 that looks just as great as the first game.
Avory lists the features of the game as follows:
