Richard Jordan, the developer behind the stunning Melkhior’s Mansion has posted a video to Twitter that gives pretty strong hints as to his next potential project – a full colour remake of Ultimate’s Underworld.
As you can see below, what he’s produced so far gives us lots of reason to be excited – the buttery smooth scrolling, the sympathetically updated graphics and the fact that it’s basically an update of an all-time classic all add to the hype.
Richard’s current game, Melkhior’s Mansion, is a beautiful isometric re-imagining of Ultimate’s Atic Atac featuring stunning pixel-art graphics and the hard-as-nails gameplay you’ll be familiar with from playing any of the games in the Sabre Wulf series. It can be downloaded for Windows/Linux/Mac now while a full ZX Spectrum Next release of the game is currently being worked on.
