The May edition of EDGE magazine contains a massive fourteen-page feature on Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, the indie RPG sequel. There’s also big hype for No Rest For The Wicked, Pony Island 2: Panda Circus, Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure, Cataclismo, Cryptmaster, and Animal Well.
Elsewhere in this issue is a feature on the origins of triple-A and an interview with Paul Gouge, whose studio was bought for $1.4bn by EA. There’s also a studio profile of Akupara Games and the making of Final Fantasy XVI.
Rounding out the issue is a look back at The Talos Principle, and a large smattering of game reviews, including Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, Unicorn Overlord, Helldivers 2, Skull and Bones, Llamasoft: The Jeff Minter Story, Penny’s Big Breakaway, Foamstars, Splatoon 3: Side Order, Inkulinati, and Lysfanga: The Time Shift Warrior.
