When we were wee nippers, Fusion R Gamer loved the simple LCD gaming fun provided by Nintendo’s Game & Watch titles.
Now, Time Extension have uncovered an excellent-looking new fan-made Mario Bros ZX Spectrum conversion by coder Sergio Morales. The stunning-looking conversion is available as a free download now, but don’t tell Nintendo! You know how litigious they can be!
The Mario Bros Game & Watch was originally released by Nintendo back in 1983.
Of course, this isn’t the first time that Nintendo’s moustachioed plumbing brothers have leapt their way onto the ZX Spectrum. Back in 1987, Ocean released an official port of the original Mario Bros coin-op, which originally hit arcades in 1983 (the same year that the Mario Bros Game & Watch launched! Mama mia!)
