Those kind folk at RaspberryPi Press have released a brand new book devoted to game development, allowing readers to program their own games using Python and PygameZero. The book is free to download and features listings and instructions for creating classic games.

This is a collection of articles taken from the past four years of Wireframe magazine to help budding developers understand how sprites work, and how to create simple game physics. You don’t even have to type in listings, as they can be downloaded from GitHub.

You can download the book for free here.
