Game Boy Studio Central, the online community resource for the popular Game Boy Studio development kit, has announced a new physical magazine to be published on the 19th of June 2023. The magazine will be published quarterly and will focus on “articles and content written for the site, then carefully craft them into an elegant magazine reminiscent of the days when you got all your gaming news and tips shipped to your door.”
The project is available through the community Patreon which will charge subscribers every three months. Not only will subscribers get a fancy physical magazine sent to them but they can also access it digitally. Those who don’t wish to make a regular subscription can but individual issues once they’re released.
