Wanax (Andrea Schincaglia) has been teasing Fat Tarzan on Twitter for some time now and the good news is that it has gained some pace and is getting set for release under the Rebel Bytes division of The Digital Monastery and potentially will be published by Protovision.

Fat Tarzan has three levels and there will be many traps to avoid. There will be no enemies to destroy (just a few) and along the way, there will be doors to unlock with levers hidden in the rooms. There will also be platforms that move in all directions (up, down, left, right), which allow you to reach areas that you would not reach with a jump. Aim of the game? Try to make the “fat man” lose weight by collecting all the fruit that is on each level…

Fat Tarzan is made using the hires graphic mode, only the player is in multicolour mode. Level design and character set are made by Wanax. The menu and in-game tune and the voice (scream) of Tarzan is made by Gaetano Chiummo and Raffox created the fat man himself (Tarzan).
When can you experience the diet-busting-fat-man on your beloved C64? Wanax is predicting it will be made available in the first half of 2023 and is set to make your whole family go ape!
