One of the often forgotten platform gems from the 16bit era, Joe & Mac has been remade by Mr. Nutz Studio and is out now on PlayStation and Switch with the Xbox and PC port coming 1st December. The game has been rebuilt from the ground up for modern consoles and PC’s and features some crisp modern pixel art.
Joe & Mac: Caveman Ninja is a re-imagining of the original games rather than a straight upgraded port but still has all the zany humour and arcade gameplay that the series is known for. North American fans will be able to get their hands on a physical copy that releases with a sticker sheet 13th December.
This looks superb, but it’s a bit on the pricey side for me, sadly! I’ve added it to the wishlist anyway. Maybe I’ll get it in a sale.
