We’ve previously reported on Netflix expanding its video game offering, and on a Stranger Things board game.
But now, Digital Eclipse’s Mike Mika has revealed on Twitter that a new Commodore 64 game based on Stranger Things was pitched to Netflix. Such a Commodore 64 adventure game would certainly be a good fit for the series’ somewhat nebulous “sometime in the 80s” period setting.
Sadly, the streamer declined on taking up the C64 Stranger Things adventure game, so it never progressed beyond demo stage. This means that, unfortunately, Commodore 64 owners won’t be heading into the “Upside Down” after all.
Would you have played a new Commodore 64 game based on Stranger Things? Why not share your thoughts in the comments?
